Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP

I'm the Labour Member of Parliament for Salford. I am also Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.

Salford is situated at the heart of the regional centre. It covers an area of 37 square miles and boasts a thriving university, a major teaching hospital, Salford Reds Rugby Club and the Lowry, a multi-million pound arts and theatre complex at Salford Quays.

The wards covered by my constituency are Broughton, Claremont, Irwell Riverside, Kersal, Langworthy, Ordsall and Weaste & Seedley.
