If you live in Robroyston, Barmulloch, Balornock East, Provanmill, Blackhill, Hogganfield, Ruchazie or Millerston, your local Labour councillors in the new North East ward are Gilbert Davidson (above left), Catherine McMaster (above centre), and Gerald Leonard (above right), who can be contacted through northeastlabour@yahoo.co.uk

Gilbert Davidson is dealing with casework from Balornock East, most of Barmulloch (with the exception of those streets around St Catherine's Primary School), and Blackhill. He also represents constituents in Garthamlock, which is within the Glasgow East Westminster Parliamentary and the Glasgow Baillieston Scottish Parliamentary Constituencies. Gilbert lives in Springburn with his wife and family, and was secretary of his local community council, campaigning for better social and recreational facilities. He volunteers with local youth groups, and since May 2007 has been a hard-working and accountable councillor for the North East Ward. He is currently vice-convener of the East End Area Committee.

1st Thursday of each month - St Martha's Primary School, 85 Menzies Rd, Balornock at 5.30pm

3rd Thursday of each month - Molendinar Community Centre, 1210 Royston Rd, Provanmill, at 7pm 

4th Thursday of each month - Barmulloch Community Centre, Wallacewell Quadrant at 7pm

He also holds surgeries for those constituents in Garthamlock, which is within the Glasgow East Westminster Parliamentary and the Glasgow Baillieston Scottish Parliamentary Constituencies.

Elderly or Disabled constituents or those unable to attend surgeries can be visited at home.

Gerald has lived in Robroyston for a decade with his wife and daughter. He has been a hard-working and effective councillor in the North East of Glasgow for eight years, respresenting the Gartcraig ward from 1999-2007, and the North East ward from May 2007, working for investment in local schools and better housing. He is convener of the council's North Area Committee, is chair of the City Building company with responsibility for Glasgow construction, and has served the city as a Bailie since May 2003.

4th Tuesday of each month - St Philomena's Primary School, 21 Robroyston Rd, Provanmill between 6.30 and 7.30pm

Catherine lives in Mount Vernon, and has served as a councillor in Greater Easterhouse for 12 years. She chairs the Community Planning Committee for Baillieston, Shettleston and Greater Easterhouse, fighting for integrated development, better housing and a cleaner local environment.
