Anderston/City Ward

Gordon Matheson

If you live in Ladywell, Drygate, High Street or Cathedral Square, your local Labour councillors in the new Anderston/City ward are Gordon Matheson and Philip Braat. Gordon (above) is dealing with casework in this area. Gordon has served as a Bailie in the current council, and is the Council's Executive Member for Education and Social Renewal.

He also represents constituents in Townhead, Merchant City, Cowcaddens, and the City Centre, which are within the Glasgow Central Westminster Parliamentary and the Glasgow Kelvin Scottish Parliamentary Constituencies. He holds surgeries at the following venues and times -

2nd Wednesday of each month - Ladywell Tenants Hall, 32a Drygate, Drygate at 6pm

He also holds surgeries for those constituents in Townhead, Merchant City, Cowcaddens, and the City Centre, which are within the Glasgow Central Westminster Parliamentary and the Glasgow Kelvin Scottish Parliamentary Constituencies.

There are no surgeries held during school or public holidays.
