The Argus

Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm really looking forward to taking in part the Argus Appeal South Downs Way Cycling Challenge

(Eastbourne to Winchester).

No matter what the current unpredictable weather throws at us I'm sure it will be a great event. Raising money for the Argus Appeal, which does such a good job of cutting out the red tape and getting help to people and projects in Sussex in need, makes all the muddy training worthwhile. I can be sponsored online at;

www.justgiving.com/simonburgesssouthdowns

where if you are a UK taxpayer the Argus Appeal will gain the extra gift aid.

I have long backed the creation of a South Downs National Park on as large a boundaries as possible. By taking part in the challenge I hope to raise as much as possible for the Argus Appeal and also to emthasise what a great natural asset the South Downs are, and how they need to be protected and enhanced for the enjoyment of all.

Yours

Simon Burgess
