Minister praises West Kirby school
Ed Balls MP, Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families has praised Gareth Williams, Headteacher of West Kirby Residential School while visiting Wirral. Mr Williams has been recognised by the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown as a National Leader in Education and was recently invited to Downing Street in recognition of his excellent work. Stephen introduced Mr Williams to Schools Minister Ed Balls at the Wirral West Labour Party Annual Constituency Dinner. Mr Hesford said: “Gareth has been recognised among 90 National Leaders in Education and we can be very proud, not only of his work at West Kirby Residential School but also his continued commitment to the quality of teaching and learning in all of the schools that he works with.”
