Did you have fees deducted from your miners’ compensation?

 

Some solicitors and unions have taken fees from miners, despite the fact that the government has paid for all legal and medical costs. If you have not yet claimed back fees deducted from your compensation, please contact my Constituency Office.

  Nia Griffith is the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Llanelli constituency. Nia was elected as Member of Parliament for Llanelli in May 2005. Most people who are eighteen years or older can vote in a general election. There are over six hundred MPs in the United Kingdom. Generally, the political party with most MPs forms the government. The government is in charge of deciding national policy on many issues and runs government departments such as the Treasury, which controls political issues to do with the economy.

People in Llanelli bring many kinds of problems to Nia so that she can help them. They also express their views on various political issues ...

  Work Experience & Internships Nia Griffith MP is happy to offer work experience and internships. These are available to sixth form pupils and university students. Work experience is for one week periods and is designed for sixth form students. Internships are targeted towards university students. Their time frame is flexible. If you wish to apply, please state when you are available and whether you would like to work in Nia's Westminster office or the Llanelli constituency office. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide accommodation in London or Llanelli. Also, work experience is unpaid. Internships can be paid or unpaid - this is dependent upon current staff...
